Our host was waiting to direct us onto the driveway of the property at our arrival time and was most welcoming. The view's of the sun setting behind the mountains from the garden are spectacular and the garden is tastefully illuminated for the evening. We arranged to have dinner prepared by the host's and a beautiful meal was presented to us along with a lovely dessert. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable with ample bedding and plenty of hot water for shower's. In the morning we were given an Albanian breakfast prepared using ingredients from the garden and it was very flavoursome and filling.

With mountain views, Bujtina Vjosa is situated in Memaliaj and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground.

What an extraordinary place to stay, right on the river with very friendly staff and lots of entertainment from the wandering turkeys! Was very well equipped and comfortable.

That is an example of Albanian Hospitality! You feel like visiting your aunt. That feeling is unforgettable! Clean room, new bedding and SUPER breakfast (with fresh goat milk!)! We also asked for a lunch and that was wanderfull! Besides there is a fridge in the room with drinks. Try this experience and taste real Albania!
