The setting is very peaceful overlooking the lake. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. They arranged our boating trip on Monroe Island as well as organising a takeaway meal for us in the evening. They also organised the tuk tuk to drive us to our next destination. It was one of the best stays we’ve had in India

The staff was very helping, both when we arrived Munroe Island late at night, but also when we wanted to go for activities during the day. They were available on the phone throughout the whole day, and answered all the questions we had. We even got to borrow their scooter, to discover other villages nearby! The power went out during the day, and they changed our rooms to a new one with power, without us even asking. Very good service, and friendly people:)

Location is very calm and peaceful. I feel like my own home. They prepared the homemade food for us. It was very tasty and delicious. The warm hospitality of Deepa and care the family puts to making sure all guests treated for an exceptionally memorable trip. We also did a canoe tour, which was amazing.. The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it!
