Well decorated. Nice setup. Excellent bathroom facility. Hospitality is exceptional. It was a homely atmosphere. Great breakfast of waffles with home made rhubarb jam, maple syrup and Kershey's chocolate.

Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.

Good location to stop before/after Landmannalaugar. It felt just like home at this place. I don't know why, but it just felt so warm, so relaxing.. when my fiance entered the room, she instantly said she could live there forever... friendly owners and very cool and cute dog. The place was very clean, cozy and equipped with everything needed. The location is easy to find, just follow the guidance provided in Booking. In a night without clouds, you can even see the Northern Lights from the porch in front of your room!! The family owning the place are extremely kind and warm people. Gave us a lot of helpful recommendations and prepared delicious breakfast, which you can enjoy with a lovely view :) Definitely would love to come back again and highly recommend it.

Super easy to get the keys, one of our rooms was a door code the other was a lockbox. Everything was nice and clean. The shared spaces were large and plentiful. The beds were so comfortable, I wish my bed at home was like that.
