Stunning hostel surrounded by beautiful nature. I booked almost 2 months before and got a great deal. Service was good, breakfast was great, rooms were also great. One of the best place I stayed at during my entire trip through the Ring Road. The room felt comfy & clean.

!THE BEST STAY WE HAD IN ICELAND! And we stayed in like 10 places during our trip... The host was amazing! The best we had during our stay in Iceland (and we've met alot)! He gives more than enough time to listen to your previous plans and coming plans and suggest great plans to do, with lots and lots of useful tips. Just enjoy the complimentary free waffles with tea/coffee at breakfast with some beautiful conversations with the host! The location is amazing, just a little detour off the ring road and close to Hella town. There are nearby farms with lots of Icelandic horses with possibility of doing some riding tours. The kitchen was fully equipped with a beautiful shared space!

Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.
