We came to Merzouga for an overnight stay at a desert camp and added this stop for an extra night beforehand—which turned out to be perfect for a little rest in the middle of our road trip. There’s free parking, and we were able to park our car right in front of our room entrance, which was super convenient. The property is within walking distance of the dunes, and there’s a small supermarket about 4 minutes away by car. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The water was quite cold (we visited in late April), but with the heat outside, it was actually perfect for cooling off. We loved our room—it looked just like in the photos. It was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a mirror, and hangers for clothes. Even though it was hot outside, the room stayed pleasantly cool. We booked dinner for 130 DH (around 13€) per person), and both dinner and breakfast were really good. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind—we were even allowed to stay in the pool area after checkout, which we really appreciated. You could easily stay even 2 nights or more if you’re looking to unwind—this place is truly a gem.

This was the best room we have booked on our 3 week stay in Morocco. The bed was SO comfortable and big, it was hard to get up. The room was very big, had a beautiful bathroom and a view towards the sand dunes. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast at the riad itself and the food was really good and tasty. The riad has a nice rooftop terrace from which you can watch the sunrise/sunset over the dunes. The host itself was very very friendly and helped us to book a quad tour in the dunes. We really had such a great experience there and would totally recommend you to go there.

The whole team is remarkable, the breakfast is plentiful and excellent, the Dar Menorca is magnificent and the room very comfortable. The location is stunning. We loved our very comfortable tent and slept soundly in the plush bed. The camp is beautiful and surrounded by dunes. We had an amazing dinner and the breakfast was delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the sunset camel trek in the dunes, it was a once in the lifetime experience. The night sky full of stars is breathtaking! 100% recommend this place!

Amazing experience! The location was perfect, just steps away from the stunning dunes. Ibrahim organized an incredible one-night stay in the desert camp, which was the highlight of our trip. The camp was comfortable, clean, and beautifully set up under the stars. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the entire experience unforgettable.
