We loved our stay at the villa,. It’s a clean, modern but cosy new building with a kitchen and even a billiard table. There’s space to park your scooter safely and the bed is super comfortable. Above that the staff are amazingly helpful and the kindest we have come across in Vietnam. (And I’ve experienced so much kindness and generosity already in Vietnam!) They also offer home cooked meals and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The sweet home exceeded all expectations! Our lovely Host let us check in at 8:30, after a long night on the sleeper bus. The room was exactly as described. It has AC, a balcony, hot shower, wifi, a large double bed. The area is a little out of town, but that means it has some great local spots around it! This place offers a unique and very authentic experience. The host is super kind and welcomes you in her home like you’re an old friend. Being located on an island that is only accessible by scooter or by foot, this place feels like an island from the mass tourism you’ll be faced with anywhere else in the city. As soon as you enter the small alleyway leading towards the bridge connecting the island with the mainland, you’ll enter a world which I perceived to be raw, honest and still unspoiled by tourism.
