The house is located at a beautiful vantage point, overlooking the entrance to Ötztal and very close to the valley's main attractions (the town of Ötz, Umhausen, Stuibenfall, Niederthai, and Piburgersee) - a perfect location. In hindsight, our stay was too short. This is a great place to stay while visiting this part of Austria. Warmly and highly recommended.

El apartamento esta en una zona residencial tranquila y preciosa. Todo estaba genial como aparece en las fotos. Era muy comodo y el anfitrion muy simpatico, nos sugirio buenos sitios para poder cenar y desayunar.

We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect
