There is no words to properly describe how good the experience is, everything was beyond my expectations, and even more when you consider the standart in China Rooms are big and comfy, bathroom very clean with all you need (even the mirror fit a European size!), a very nice common room with couches and a table to meet all the guests But more than that, you have a lovely host that will be there to help you and arrange everything for you, always with a smile! Everything is smooth and easy, make sure you try the dinner with everyone before leaving and don't forget to pet these cats!

Velká čínská zeď – Simatai se nachází 15 km odtud. the stay exceeded my expectations. both hosts are welcoming, enthusiastic, and down to earth. when we arrived, we discussed our travel plans with the hosts and they gave us plenty of helpful suggestions and even offered driving service. after exploring jinshanling the next day, the host picked us up, gave us a quick tour around gubeikou town, sharing the beauty and history of the town, then sent us to the train station. breakfast was authentic and delicious (loved the soy milk, 油炸饼, and 疙瘩汤). overall, this was a wonderful start to our beijing trip, with comfy place, thoughtful hosts, and beautiful surroundings. highly recommend staying here. 10/10.

The family was great. She can cook really delicious and he can help you with the transportation around, knowing perfectly the surroundings, you can win a lot of time, and visit a lot, even catch the sunrise on the Great Wall which is for sure unique and only with a local can be done. I stayed only one night but felt as it was a week. Perfectly planned with the help of both of them. Thanks a lot for everything!! Rooms are super spacious and newly renovated. Bed super confortabile. Hot water at your disposal, towels, slippers, everything u need. Perfect.

The reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We would recommend this stay for people who are backpacking or only need a few nights stay. There are washing machines and a tumble dryer on site which is very useful and the staff will take out the washing for you if you go out for the day. The location is a big plus point to this hotel with Lamas temple a short walk away, restaurants, coffee shops, casual bars and a metro stop. There is facilities to make up some easy food if you wanted to. The room itself is a satisfactory size.
