She’s also the cook and we would slurp up everything she prepares. The calm and serene vibe this accommodation gives makes one wants to stay longer :) our first day we did a night walk of Simatai section Great Wall that included the cable car (expensive! But enjoyable)… second day we hiked up the wild Great Wall. I felt this pace was slow and lovely for my younger children.

I have so many great memories from my stay at Gubeikou Great Wall Yunyeshu Boutique Guesthome. The guest home was so comfortable and convenient for what I wanted to do. The service could not be beaten. I was looked after from the moment I arrived until I departed 3 days later. Dinners were delicious, village life was interesting, wonderful for a stroll and of course I was driven to the Great Wall and Gubei Water Town by my hosts. Just all round 10/10 hospitality. A real highlight of my China visit!

Everything, the family, the food, the location! It was during May labour day holiday time and it was so quiet there. We almost had the great wall to ourselves! We will def come back again!

北京重构空间酒店天安门王府井店 se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě ve čtvrti Dongcheng District v destinaci Peking. Everything was great and we highly recommend this inn. The personnel goes out of their way to help you. When we arrived late at night and had a payment issue with our card, the girl at the reception insisted we go to our room and solve the issue in the morning, she was more concerned with us getting proper rest than with the payment. I thought that was very thoughtful and we did end up fixing the issue (which was our issue and had nothing to do with them). The room is spacious, clean, quite modern, has all the amenities you need and they provide cleaning every day. We needed some laundry done and they helped us with that too. The inn is in the cafe so that can be a little disconcerting when you get there, but go through the cafe and you will find a small reception. Their coffee is great though so that's a plus in the morning:-) The location is quite traditional, in a hutong in a well known district and you can find a multitude of restaurants and shops all around, we tried some and were not disappointed. You even have a convenience store just around the corner! There are 2 metro stations within walking distance so the location is perfect. Thanks to the hosts for the warm welcome and for making our stay in Beijing so comfortable!
