I liked how he supplied all the necessary items for a great breakfast in the morning. The room and the private bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-supplied. Having a secure place to store my e-bike overnight in the shed was very welcome.

I hiked all day without much food. It was a holiday in France and all the stores were closed. Monique immediately gave me some fruits, meat and bread. She also phoned restaurants nearby to see which one was opened. The day I left, we had breakfast together and she also gave me some bread to take along. Never been treated so kindly.

The owners were excellent communicators, open and friendly, and always willing to advise or recommend places to see or visit in the area. It was a pleasure to chat with them!

It was located in an ideal location for walking and also central to other villages. Hosts very welcoming. The place had all the charm one hopes for! Breakfast was delicious and so filling, do not miss this.

They went above and beyond to cater to our young child who said "I wish we could live here" when it was time to go (very high praise from a 7 year old boy). There home is a great base for anyone wanting to take in the Alsace region and was between 20 min- 2 hours to some of the best Christmas markets in the world...the purpose for our holiday this year. We will be back!
