We played cards together and created a very friendly atmosphere. I had to stay one day more than planned, as it was amazing there!

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Aqua Blue is right next to the beach, like 50 m away, and in a more quiet location. If you go to the main street, you can sometimes see the 'local' elephant in the marsh nearby. The place is clean, has AC and everything you need, even a hammock to chill in. Basheer is always there to help you with pretty much everything you need. The breakfast is very good and the cappuccino, one of the best in Sri Lanka. I totally recommend Aqua Blue!

We had a lovely 3 week stay at Forcus. The facilities are modern and well maintained, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with open shower, and a beautiful outdoor area with the garden to enjoy. The staff is amazing! Kevin and the rest of the crew work tireless to make sure we have everything we need. They do roomcleaning whenever we want, and help us with several services like laundry, bike rental, tuktuk, and taxi transport. When theyre not helping us, they attend to the garden to keep it beautiful. We loved the breakfast! They offer a variation of different food. Banana pancakes was our favourite. Locations is great, if you want to be close to everything. Some noise from close bars is expected, but it didnt bother us.

You get easy access to all the main surf points and town amenities, but you're far enough away to enjoy complete peace and quiet. It's the perfect tranquil escape after a day in the sun. The Room & Amenities: The room was fantastic—very spacious,spotlessly clean, and designed with comfort in mind. It was equipped with all the required amenities, and everything was in great working order. It truly felt like a home away from home. Overall Experience: I can't fault this place.For the comfort, space, and serene atmosphere, it offers incredible value. I would gladly give it a perfect 10 out of 10 for the room and overall experience. It’s a gem that provides a quiet, convenient, and comfortable base for your Arugam Bay adventures. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

A peaceful garden paradise near the surf! Vinka’s place is a little piece of quiet garden paradise just a short walk from the surf spot! I loved the peaceful atmosphere, the lush garden, and how comfortable and clean the cabanas were. Vinka was super helpful and kind throughout my stay — always available if I needed anything. Everything was perfect, and I felt totally at home. I’ll definitely come back one day. Highly recommended for surfers and nature lovers alike!
