He basically helped us with everything, the booking of kayaking in the lake, the turtle watching, he took us to the beach and shared lots of useful information. He even waited at the beach to ride my kids back by his motorcycle when it was almost 10 pm. As we were swimming, he arranged our dinner by the pool. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. As for the villa, it is clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Every room has a clothes drying rack, which is very thoughtful. My favorite is the swimming pool, very clean and modern, there is also a kids pool too!

A lovely place in the quiet part of Tanglle. We booked at the last minute and they were ready for us with an early check-in early and a very nice welcome drink. The owner Gintarė and manager Chami were very helpful, organising transport to The other side of Tanglle and to Mirissa. The wetlands near the lodge had many birds which was a bonus. Highly recommended.

Also, a very comfortable bedroom, a very clean bathroom (with hot water), a charming balcony, we were surrounded by green surroundings with birds chirping. We were able to see various animals. We had lunch and dinner. Our dinner was full of sea food. It was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the host was a very kind person. I think you will also be able to have a nice vacation at this place.🩷

We were really happy we chose this place for our 3-night stay at Tissa. I will not write much about the place, the room and the facilities provided and the quality of services provided by the host; they are all better described by other guests and they are all true. I will - above all - point out the amazing care dedicated by the host and his wife in order to serve us the best quality of ingredients and prepared the finest dishes of Sri Lankan cuisine! That was the only place of all Sri Lanka over a 3+ week period where we had the chance (and the luck) to taste authentic local food - and it was amazing! The property is located down a quiet street near a bus stop station and about a 15 minute walk from a grocery store and local restaurants. We were welcomed by the owners (husband and wife) and they offered us a welcome drink and showed us a booklet that provided information of all there is to see in Tangalle. The room was spacious and clean! We had breakfast here, cooked by the family and it was so beautiful of a breakfast. You can tell they put their love into it. Upon checkout, the family gave us advice for our next destination and even a snack for the road! The husband accompanied us to the bus station and helped hail down the bus and spoke with the man that drove it. It really eased our nerves because the busses aren’t marked and they FLY by so he was a huge help. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
