So kind and helpful. Susanto and Damiamti organised a driver to pick us up from Negombo and also to take us to Polonnaruwa after our stay. They also organised a fantastic safari and even made my husband's birthday special with cake and balloons. Nadita, their son was an amazing host, adept at English language and a delight, as was their gorgeous dog Tiny. Stunning location. The tank, a short walk away, is teeming with all kinds of birdlife. Lovely village.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort se nachází v destinaci Habawewa a má zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 39 km odtud je Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. Great location. Nicely tucked away from the road amongst the forest. Lots of birds including jungle fowl to watch from the patio. Walk in from the road via a pathway. They met us to help carry our bags. Dinner was traditional Sri Lankan curry - vegetarian or chicken. Followed by yoghurt and fruit for dessert. Plenty of food, not spicy and was yummy. Other options for dinner were fried rice or vegetable noodles. Breakfast was packed for us for the following day safari. 2 egg sandwiches, a banana, yoghurt and water. Sufficient for the half day. The best part is the very close lake and dirt road. We went for a walk with binoculars and saw deer, langurs, crocodile, hornbills and lots of other birds and lizards too. A much better, slower paced experience and one not to miss. We booked a half day tour with the host. In hindsight we would have booked a different tour. Pillows weren't overly comfortable but was OK for 1 night.

The owner to the other supports staff are all VERY friendly and they catered to our every need. The sunset River Safari arranged by the property was amazing. Our guide, Mubarak, had the most amazing eye to spot beautiful birds along the way. The food offered at the restaurant was healthy and tasty. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

It was quiet and they accommodated all my wishes. I wanted to extend for two more days and it was no problem at all. The safari that I booked through them was amazing and the transfer that they organized was perfect. Happy to go back Thanks so much 😊

Green sapphire resort is one of the best hotels we spent in Sri Lanka. Staff, Food, View, Nature, all are superb. And the best part is the safari tour. The hotel arranged us a tour and we had an unforgettable experience with the safari driver. We saw all the animals in the Wilpattu Safari. Leopards, Elephants, Bears etc. The driver has a great experience about the jungle and the roads. We went 3 kinds of safari in Sri Lanka and this was the best. I think this is the best place to go on a wilpattu safari tour. Very good & appreciate it!!

Great place to stay close to the entrance of the park. The host was amazing and cooked us a really delicious dinner! We walked in the afternoon to the lake side where we spotted some crocodiles!
