It has a pool, a nice kitchen, good places to hang out. And the rooms (although some guests like to use their phones without pods or headphones) are great. Private. Shower was really good. And the rooms are nice and cool. Staff were really nice as well.

The private room is quite spacious and they have airconditioning. Soap and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. There is a kitchen and a garden to use. Also there is an opportunity to do laundry. I really recommend this place, it’s 10/15 mins walk to the centre and the price is very reasonable. The owners are very kind and helpful.

The colectivo stop for Chichén Itzá is also within walking distance. There was also a bank nearby, and I was able to withdraw cash from the ATM around 9 PM without any problem. Basically, most things are within a few minutes’ walk. I arrived at night, and the staff kindly told me that I could pay the next day, which was very helpful. The hostel has a kitchen and a water dispenser, which is very useful. I didn’t use it myself, but they can also help you book tours. The staff were very kind and always explained things clearly when I had questions.

BOOKS! The staff was more than welcoming - owner Luca made me coffee and chatted like an old friend. The location also cannot be beaten - mere blocks away from the action, but you’ll hear roosters and the occasional dog, not buses and hawkers.
