It was quiet, peaceful and had excellent facilities. Perfect location for visiting Farewell Spit and Wharareki Beach. The owner was really welcoming and helpful. Leigh was a fabulous hostess, making us very welcome and fitting in with all our requests without a hitch. Our Cozy Suite was large and very comfortable as was the bed. The ensuite was fine with a relatively new fit-out. The location of the B & B was perfect for our needs and the home itself was large and comfortable as were the outside decks and facilities. All in all this was the bet B & B we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few.

As the name describes it (glamping), the room is very small but the bed is comfy and the linen was really nice. The description lists the accommodation as a shared bathroom but I had it all to myself (along with kitchenette and laundry) which was certainly nice for this solo traveller! I later learnt that for the moment, the individuals or group who have booked have exclusive use of the bathroom which you’re not sharing it with strangers (there are two other glamping cabins). Everything was immaculately clean. The accommodation is on the edge of town but I liked the location as it’s closer to the coast and a swimming spot. Communication with the owner was fab, she even suggested a few dinner spots which was thoughtful.

This was a very spacious apartment, with views of the lovely garden, right outside the wide windows. We barbecued on the patio, sheltered by the upstairs balcony, a lovely sunny spot for breakfast too. Everything in the place was top quality, with everything you could need for a self catering stay. A very comfortable bed, with super linens and fluffy towels. The laundry facilities were very useful on our long trip away. A pair of bikes to use, made such a difference for us. Very friendly owners too, so thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had an excellent two-night stay at Hillview, in a very comfy room complete with a lovely outlook. Breakfast was a real bonus along with expresso coffee. The convivial chat and banter with other guests was delightful but we had our own privacy as well. Excellent value for money in desirable Richmond. Five stars: would highly recommend.

An awesome base for exploring Golden Bay and the abel tasman.

Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!
