No delays, no excuses, no attitude. You need something? It’s done. You’ve got questions? He answers them before you even ask. No ego, no weird vibe just pure respect and presence. It’s rare as hell. Even the scooter rental is on point brand new, rides clean, price is fair. Not one of those beat-up bikes everyone else tries to pass off as “ok.” This isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s run properly. It feels good. You can tell someone gives a shit about the details and that alone makes it better than half the so-called “top-rated” places out there. Stay here. That’s it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mantaray Siargao! Our room and entire property was very beautiful and well maintained. Room was cleaned every day and when we came home in the evening, every time there would be dimmed lights left what felt very welcoming. Joseph and Elvira were very friendly and gave us all sorts of suggestions on what to see and do. We are especially thankful for organizing us the private boat ride to Mam-on island and the encouragement to go surfing together. We cannot wait to go back!!

Close to a boardwalk through the mangroves - very beautiful at sunset.

They showed us parts of the northern island on a motorbike ride on the first day. Rental of bikes and surfboards as well as lessons possible to fair prices. Great place for a local warm and local experience❤️

Not a man made structure in sight. Breathtaking views from the rooftop. Very clean pool area, and the food was delicious. The bushes in front of our room came alive with the greatest firefly show I've ever seen at night. Staff was perfect, and we couldn't ask for better. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. It was an incredible stay, we can't wait to come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed in TLShaw Homestay for one weekend and we had a great experience with everything. Mark and the rest of the family were very friendly and accomodating. Honestly, I have never felt welcomed as much as I did in this homestay. It is located few minutes away from the nightlife and relaxing beaches. They recommended us places to go and explore Siargao island and even arranged it for us. Thank you Mark and family. Siargao island is the best island I have been in Philippines so far and I will highly recommend TLShaw Homestay to everyone 😊

The host is the best part. She’s definitely one of the most hospitable hosts and checks in with you just enough. The location is pretty good, a decent 5 minute drive to General Luna. It’s affordable with all the basics that you need like air conditioning, hot water, and good internet.
