The room was beautifully decorated, felt clean and simple with modern amenities, and super comfortable beds. But the view over the village while sitting on the balcony was definitely the catch. A great place to stay in Ban Rak Thai which afforded a view of the whole village. Stunning at night when all the village lights came on. Huge breakfast delivered to the room in the morning! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.

You will stay trought nature literally! Great accomodation, such a nice bungalow, simple but with very confortable bed! I slept very well! The bungalow is handmade, and thats what i wanted in Pai, this is how should be!:) the breackfast was amazing! The owner makes the best banana pancakes I ever tryed! Such a kind Man! Nice garden and view of mountains! Nice and chill people there. Twin hut its an oasy in Pai's landscape, if you are looking for peace and retreat but at the same time stay closed to the funny Pai village center , almost 7 minutes walking, this is the right place!

Clean rooms and very welcoming owners. They made sure that we are ok in our stay. It’s quite far from the center but if u have car or motorcycle it’s one of the beat place to stay in Maehongson. Breakfast was really good.

The property’s manager is friendly and cognizant of guests needs, providing suggestions for day trips around the region and reservations to MHS’s best restaurants. A close friend — a travel writer — recommended the Sang Tong Huts. It is the best property we have ever stayed in nearly a dozen trips to northwestern Thailand.

This location can be succinctly described as Classy: designed and decorated with taste, giving it a unique combination of comfort and hominess together with subdued yet classy luxuriousness. The location is heart-stoppingly beautiful on the upper slope of a hill overlooking a winding creek, thick rainforest and green agricultural fields - with views going to a far far distance. The hosts personally attended to our every request and took extra steps to pamper us: for example the hostess handed us a pair of binoculars because the view is so amazing and there really are so many layers of interesting things to see. The heavy rainfall kept us indoor but the outdoor covered jacuzzi facing the amazing view was an exceptional experience. There is a world of additional activities which we could not partake in or enjoy - because we were there for only one night and under heavy rainfall - but this is a place worth staying at - and for longer durations.

Our room was very clean – and the rooftop offered an absolutely stunning view. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around. Overall, we can only highly recommend staying here and we truly wish the owners all the best for the future.

Staff helpful and friendly. I don't speak Thai yet they still managed to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Close to 7eleven and food joints. Great value for money.

Jan the host is incredible. I was welcomed with a hug and left feeling like I have a new little sister. I stayed in a new bungalow at the rear of the property and loved it, quiet and peaceful with a hammock facing a field of cows off the back of the building and a table out front if I wanted to be social, or I could go up to the dining area, pool or billiards room as well. Located near the airport and just far enough away from the walking street that there is peace but close enough that a walk or scooter into town is easy. There is a Monday market a few blocks away, a 7-11 up the road a short walk, Dad can do laundry for a good price and Mom cooks a great pad Thai available to order.
