Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

Best Rusks and WiFi in the Farm We stayed in Paddock cottage with my 13 and 14 year old and they enjoyed it 💯%. It's spacious and their WiFi is fast . We had Ms Winnie welcome us and she is friendly and our cottage was spotlessly clean. It's was easy to find ,we drove from Durban. Our cottage was intimate and very cozy....... In the morning we had the lovely horses at our backyard,REFRESHING AND REFUELS THE MIND👏🏿 THESE WERE OUR HIGHLIGHTS #We had all amenities, including an umbrella #simple and spacious enough to be comfortable #bathtub clean ,spacious and had enough hot water ❤️❤️❤️coffee and rusks my son said its the best 💚💚milk in the fridge,you saved our morning,thanks # Door separing the kitchen and bedroom,it gives you privacy and added storage #the wardrobe is spacious and we had enough hangers. We had enough blankets some were warm. The night and early morning was chilly......

It is almost like a manor house, offering plenty of space, two large bedrooms, a great lounge, and a winter garden with a terrace that boasts a million-dollar view of the Drakensberg Mountains (Monks Cowl). We almost felt like we were on the "Out-of-Africa" farm from the movie — and all of this at an unbeatable price. It has all the amenities you could wish for, including a cozy fireplace (with firewood provided), braai facilities, complimentary tea/coffee/milk, a lovely pool area, and an adorable dog. Furthermore, it is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained accommodations we have ever stayed in, where you won’t find a speck of dust. The hosts are very kind and polite, always ready for a little chat and willing to help when needed, and they gave us great recommendations for hiking routes and restaurants.

Čtyřhvězdičkový hotel Malachite Manor se nachází v obci KZN nedaleko města Underberg. Breakfast was good. Portions were a bit more but enjoyed all of it. The environment was just tranquil. I am definitely recommending it to friends and family. Access from main road is very good.

Definitely great 10/10. The attention to detail was everything. From the little treats left on the bedside to the rusk biscuits which were so thoughtful. Super friendly owners. This will definitely be a place I would want to come back to.
