Everything. The house was charming, and kitchen was so stocked up and the rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities and the garden and pool are lovely too. It is a 5 minute drive from the PE airport and is super safe. But really the highlight was interacting with Jane , the owner and her husband, Pierre. The conversation was wonderful, especially for international visitors trying to understand South Africa a bit better. Jane’s entire corporate career in the hospitality sector meant that she anticipated any possible question.

We had a wonderful stay at Taunton Cottage & Mews. We slept so good in the large bed. Quite neighbourhood with locked garage for the car. And then there was Roy who welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine. The attention to detail in the appartement and his warm personality are unreal. Thank you so much for the wonderful stories, you showed us what the real South-Africa is all about. If you are looking for a stay, don’t hesitate, this is the place where you need to be. 1000% recommend! 😊

A beautiful area and a warm welcoming place to spend the night. 10/10

Incredible view of soaring ocean waves right on the water in comfortable room. Very personable, kind and accommodating host Paul, who recommended an excellent local spot for dinner called Barnacles (also right on the ocean with a lovely view) Close to the airport, only about 20-25 min away which was perfect for our early morning flight the next day. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again (especially given you cannot beat the price)!

The accommodation has a lovely setting around a pool and the area is lovely and quiet. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and has everything one needs for a holiday. The beachfront is a short drive away and the Boardwalk with shops and restaurants only a short drive away too. The room has good quality mattresses which is always the most important thing to me when staying anywhere. The accommodation is exceptional value for money for the area and I doubt you will find better in the area for the money.
