I cant stress enough how much i enjoyed my stay here. Incredibly good value for money, place was nice and tidy cleaning came every single day. Staff was SUPER helpful with everything from laundry, to tours, to transfer to general questions. Great stay!

This was an excellent hostel for the price, so much beyond my expectations considering what we paid for it! Our room was really cozy, although our bathroom lacked hot water (not that uncommon in CR though so we weren’t too worried about it), plus the shared bathroom had a really nice, hot shower so I just used that one. The breakfasts were hot and delicious! One member of staff was less friendly, but he made us the most delicious pancakes for breakfast - so we forgave him instantly! The kitchenette was fully stocked, and the fridge was kept clean and had lots of space - made it very easy to cook our own meals. For the price, in my opinion this can’t be beaten, there are a couple of quirks but there always are with budget hostels. Also, the outside space had the most spectacular view! I highly recommend this place! :)

The pancakes every morning put such a smile on our kids faces, and they got to practice Spanish with the lovely chef/owner. Nice common room, great views, and free yoga every evening when we were there. Good information at the reception although I think their prices were a bit off for some of the trips. All round a great place to stay.

Sadie was a fabulous host, along with her family and friends we enjoyed our time in the house. She is a great cook, letting us try some of the local food. We miss her and Peppa already.
