I loved the location of the hostel, in Bario escalante, which is safe and vibrant. Communication with the host was great and I very much appreciate all the info about busses and transport to make the most out of my limited time in Costa Rica. There are enough showers, sinks and toilets on the corridor, I never had to wait to use one. The space is clean, with high ceiling and airy. I loved the fact that they have paper towels and the whole digital codes with clear instructions on what to use where.

The owners were great people and always there. They were ready to help you with anything you needed and the communication was excellent. The facilities were the same quality. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The dorm was very clean, as was the entire place, the beds were made every day and the showers cleaned the same. Each bed had a curtain which provided a lot of privacy. Overal a great place to stay and the location was excellent as well.

I stayed at this hostel before and needed a place to rest after my flight and before starting a tour. It was quiet at night time, the room was clean and comes with a shower. Staff is nice, check-in was easy. WIFI worked well. The hostel is in a safe location.

The stuff is so friendly, breakfast is great, beautiful green oasis in a loud and chaotic city, 10 mins walk from the airport. I will be back again & felt so safe and sound as a solo travelling woman. Good place to meet other travelers, too.

For the price i paid i have to give 10 points. It has everything you need and gets cleaned every day. Family that runs the business is also living there so it felt more like a homestay than a hostel. Not many travellers while i was there, which i liked. Wifi worked perfectly. Neighborhood is full of fancy restaurants and for those on a budget there is a walmart in 20 min walking distance.

We absolutely loved everything from start to finish. Warm welcome, room with a balcony, the room itself, the features and breakfast also the location and proximity to town. A gem in San Jose... we definitely would be coming back

It was just as described, in a safe location and very clean. We arrived there with a lot of luggage and Marc at the front desk was so nice to help us carry our luggage to our private room on the first floor. We left early the next day but we wished we could of stayed longer. Definitely recommend this place!
