The staff is always available and willing to help. They have great energy and assist with everything within their capabilities. They are very humble and kind, they are like really good friends while still maintaining professionalism. The cleaning is impeccable.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchen and shared common spaces gave lots of space for different groups to hang out instead of being confined to your room which was nice. It was fairly easy to get to the highway and there is a grocery store within about a 10 minute walk. We didn't get a chance to check it out but it looked like the area had some night life as well as parks.

Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines.

Great location. One can explore neighborhood by foot or drive easily to places like Maori Cultural Center or even to The Robbiton. Rotorua is cozy and the hostel was above expectation for my small family group.

We are loving Hakas,and the one in Rotorua is not an exception. Friendly staff, cosiness, cleanness - all the stuff the chain is made of. And this house is also a bit outstanding for its beds that are so comfy!
