I booked 20 nights at this hostel and spent all but one night there (when I visited Koh Tao). From the moment I arrived, I felt reassured about my choice. On my first day, I met two girls in my room who had been staying here and at Colorful Hut for seven weeks on and off—they loved it so much they didn’t want to leave. Their enthusiasm convinced me I’d picked the right place, especially since they could have chosen cheaper accommodations elsewhere on the island. Room: I opted for a women’s dorm with a private bathroom. The room accommodated eight people but felt spacious and even included access to a balcony. There was also a cozy “living room” area where guests could relax and chat. Each bed had curtains for privacy, which was a great touch. Cleanliness: The hostel was clean and well-maintained. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient, tidying up regularly. Some of the cleaners even spoke a bit of English, which was a nice bonus. Staff and Atmosphere: Everyone at the hostel was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke English, which made communication and getting assistance very easy. The welcoming atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. Facilities: The hostel also features a lovely café where you can relax. Wi-Fi is available on every floor with strong, reliable coverage. Breakfast: If breakfast isn’t included in your booking, I highly recommend purchasing it. The menu offers great options and is available from 8 AM to 5 PM, including a drink like coffee. Location: The hostel’s location is very convenient—just a short walk from the marina, with the beach right around the corner. There’s a food court across the street and a newly completed supermarket nearby. Renting a scooter is a good idea to explore further. Activities: The hostel organizes a range of activities such as yoga, meditation, group dinners, and excursions, so there’s always something fun to do. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations.

Its a very chill and clean hostel, it has very comfy living room vibes. The highlight was the host, on my second night he was cooking dinner with a friend and invited me to eat with them, with every problem Ive had he helped me out and i even ended up renting his private scooter because i didn’t find a rental with a good price

The owners were the sweetest and made us feel at home so much, genuinely cared for us and were interested in where we were going and what we did! Nice big open space too which made us feel like we could breathe! A lot of hostels I’ve stayed in cram as many people as they can but they’ve put time and effort into creating a hostel which is relaxed, social, a movie projector & SO CLEAN !! Would highly recommend staying here and if I’m ever back in Koh Phangan I will 100% be staying here again, thank you for everything!

EVERYTHING!!! it was welcoming, felt safe, great location, very good value for money, the beds were super comfortable, friendly atmosphere but most of all the thing that really made our stay here special was the host, he was so friendly and helpful, he gave us suggestions on where to go and offered to get tickets for events for us. Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough.

Very friendly staff. Nice chill out area. Comfy mattresses. They've also just opened their very own bar! Great location overall. The host, Boy, helped us out loads with booking cheap scooters and our outgoing ferry. Hugely recommend. Thanks for our stay.
