The city is quite large and contains lot's of crossings, however there is a connection directly from the Train station (bus station near the train station), therefore it is manageable. Should you wish to take the train into the city, there is a stop not far from the hotel and you can get a shared city card for certain number of travels. Breakfast is the standard one with toasts, tea/coffee, therefore I would not call it rich, but is good to consider to start the day. In the city there are options to eat the breakfast for sure, however most points of sale focus on chocolate, waffles and sweets in general. At the reception you can get the city map that helps a lot to move around the city, which is another positive of this place.

Hostel Uppelink offers accommodation in Ghent right next to the Saint Michael's Bridge. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and free Wi-Fi at the property. Complimentary walking tours are also offered. Amazing location, great view, friendly staff. It was better than expected.
