The rooms were clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were great. Staff were super helpful, and there was luggage storage before and after my stay which was great!!

The hostel is close to the historic center, a stone's throw from the windmills. The pub is gorgeous and in the morning, it serves both a sweet and savory breakfast (I recommend having breakfast here!). The staff is super friendly and hardworking, especially Veronica, a Spanish girl at the reception! The rooms, toilets and showers are very clean. I slept in a mixed dormitory and I felt comfortable because each bed is equipped with a curtain that allows you to have your privacy.
I recommend it!... and I would stay here again if I return to Bruges.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we were through from Scotland to watch our team Kilmarnock take on Cercle Brugges in the Europa League. The hostel staff were very welcoming and the bedrooms were clean and tidy. We had booked a 4 bedroom dorm with private ensuite bathroom which was perfect for our group. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk into the main squares, and the hostel also has its own brewery with some amazing beers to try.
Located 7 km from the historical centre of Bruges and 5 km from Zeebrugge Seaside Resort and the North Sea, Hostel Herdersbrug offers free WiFi, a free fitness centre and a terrace .

The attention of the team, the breakfast, and that they answered the phone very quickly when we arrived late for check-in
Much better than your average youth hostel. Needing to take your own towels (bizarely still standard in International Hostelling) and the lino floor were the only real downers, but it was very clean. Well placed for beaches, port and town centre. Firendly receptionists. Great hostel kithchen. Good, hearty breakfast included. Even the huge school group from UK were remarkably well-behaved. We expected a disturbed night and didn't get one. It was a double room, so no need to cope with a dorm.
