He helped me get my yellow fever vaccination urgently done and dealt with all the translation to sort out the international certification paperwork in his own spare time. He is constantly cleaning to ensure the place is hygienic and tidy. The hostel dog is so calm, quiet and cute. The perfect companion for a couple of nights. Highly recommend staying here. I was booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 3 nights.

I felt very welcomed by the staff, they were always there to guide me and answer any questions I had. Paulo knows the area very well and was always happy to help me. He has a lot of contact which is way better than to go to any travel agency. Elise is an amazing cook (her chocolate cake is delicious) and with Maria Julia they both were very smiling and kind. Overall, it was a blast!

Hostel Refúgio se nachází v obci Abraão, 400 metrů od kostela Sain't Sebastian, a nabízí zahradu a sdílený lounge. K dispozici je nepřetržitě otevřená recepce a sdílená kuchyň. Simple but very good. Very nice & clean bedrooms. Great shared spaces. I’d definitely recommend

The hostel was beautiful, the room was great and so was the breakfast. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They cleaned the room each day which was a nice touch! It was only a 10 minute walk to the beach.
