Situated in Basel and with Messe Basel reachable within 1.2 km, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a living room, free WiFi throughout the... The room was really spacious and so were the bathrooms. Super super clean, up to swiss standards. The towels are included, which is great for people that travel light. Bathroom also had some shareable toiletries just in case you forgot something. There are two common rooms to hang out with fridge and kettle for your use. Breakfast is great and fresh. They include a free pass for buses and trams which is really convenient. Plus the staff is really helpful (they were very patient with me on my checkout day).

What truly stood out was the thick walls—finally, a hostel where you don’t hear everything through paper-thin dividers! It made a huge difference in sleep quality after a long journey. And the floor heating? A game-changer. That little touch made the space feel extra cozy, especially on colder days. Everything about my stay felt smooth and effortless, allowing me to just focus on enjoying Basel. If you’re looking for a place where you can rest properly, feel at ease, and trust that everything is well taken care of, this is it. Highly recommend!

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. Very cozy, clean and the location was perfect!

I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.
