Excellent communication prior to arrival informing me of directions to get there and info about the Interlaken guest card they provide us with. Excellent facilities (big, well-equiped kitchen, plenty of lockers for storage, delicious breakfast, toilet in bedroom). Staff were all friendly and had good knowledge on things to do in the area. They seemed to have good systems in place for check in. Good location situated between the East and West train stations. Highly recommend!

The rooms were lovely and comfortable. We had room number one and woke up with an amazing view onto the alps so close you can almost touch them. The kitchen is really well equipped. We picked up some supplies for breakfast. Instant coffee, sugar, salt, herbal teas were already there in abundance. Plus they sell local cheese directly from the kitchen fridge. Also, when we left, I had forgotten my purse! The owner came running after us (a good 500 m) to bring it to me! That's what I call SERVICE!

Lehmann's Herberge Hostel se nachází na klidném místě v centru Grindelwaldu, 350 metrů od lanovek Firstbahn a Männlichenbahn. This B&B is superb and very value for money. Great view of the mountains. The area is also quiet and allows for an uninterrupted sleep at night. With its prime location near the Grindelwald train station, it is a great base to explore the area and even Lauterbrunnen or Interlaken. The hosts are friendly and the place is kept very clean including the toilet. The lady host is a very hardworking lady; I love the breakfast she prepares. The lady host also gave me recommendation on hiking trails and shared with me brochures which are helpful for my itinerary planning. Before the date of my stay, I also received an email prompt for pre-registration which I thought was very thoughtful as I could then receive a guest card which provides some perks like free transportation around the area.

And I had a beautiful window view! Friendly receptionists. The location is really good, easy to go even by walking from the train station.

Amazing view of the mountains from the hostal. The facilities were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Plus I loved the breakfast. Highly recommend the place, good value for money.

Youth Hostel Interlaken se nachází přímo u vlakového nádraží Interlaken Ost, mezi jezery Brienzersee a Thunersee. Nabízí Wi-Fi zdarma, restauraci a snack bar. Exceptional location next to the train station and within walking distance of the town center, but still a very quiet and peaceful place. Convenient accommodation for visiting the surrounding towns of Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Murren, Wengen, Brienz...etc. Across the street is a Coop supermarket. Well organized and very clean hostel. Breakfast is excellent, rich and varied. Highly recommend, for visiting the Berner Oberland region. Iwould stay here again.
