We loved everything about this place! It had a wonderful vibe, friendly staff, fantastic room and facilities including a shared kitchen if you wanted to make yourself a cup of tea or a cheaper meal. Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terras and garden. Aside from everything being clean and simple. I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially in the evenings around the firepit, very nice way to wind down from a great day of hiking especially if you're travelling solo.

The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect. Employees were very kind and helpful. They also gave us water bottle for free at breakfast. We highly recommend.

The location is good. People of reception were very nice with us, making a late checking, explaining us how to get the best tourist point around the zone… and also de breakfast is fantastic.
