It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the countryside but is easily and cheaply accessible with regular jeeps. Everything at Tukawa was spot on. The staff were not only very nice, but also very professional. The views are breathtaking and the activities they offer are much better than what you would get in the area, as they are more authentic and less touristy. The place is very clean and the food quite tasty. When I was there they had three options for breakfast, so definitely more varied than in other places in the area.

The hostel itself is in a great location, and it’s kept very clean. We stayed in a private room and thought it was exceptionally comfortable. We loved our little outdoor seating area with cute little lights above us at night. It was the perfect stop and stay for us on our long travels. Shoutout to the manager Fernando for being so helpful and friendly. He made us feel at home. We loved him and he added to the experience.

Non-stick frying pan. This is truly a boutique hostel. There’s a TV with Netflix and wonderful views from the hostel — no need to go anywhere. The kitchen is well-equipped. The reception is pleasant. Everything is designed with great taste and style. I especially want to highlight the host, David Jaramillo. He is one of those rare people who are not just doing a job, but following a calling. He creates a uniquely cozy atmosphere full of care. You feel like a valued guest.
