We booked the apartment, and it was perfect—amazing balcony, spacious outdoor kitchen, and a chill area that made it feel like our own tropical paradise. We even had regular visits from monkeys and iguanas, which felt totally unreal! The staff were exceptional—so friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. They made us feel right at home, and the ambience was laid-back and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. Thank you so much - Marco, Augustin and Brandon! The location is unbeatable—close to everything, 5 minutes walk from the beach and local restaurants. Honestly, ICO Living Hostel is the only place I’d stay in Santa Teresa. Don’t hesitate. Just go there.

I lived 3 days marvellous. Hikes without people. 45 mn Hike before reach the hostel. But it is the Price to keep this place unique . Bedroom opened on the jungle . Kindless , community spirit . Very cozy hostel with very nice owners who will leave you as friends. Everything is very clean and well thought out. The hostel is quiet and offers surfing lessons. It was just perfect and I would stay there again anytime.

Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Located in Manuel Antonio, on the way to the beach (1.5 km from the town of Quepos). Hostel Plinio offers an outdoor pool, shared kitchen, lounge areas, game room, restaurant and free WiFi. Staying in the hostel Plinio was like a paradise. The surroundings, the way the hostel is set up in the greenery on the hill, being able to spot parrots flying around (especially around 5pm) and enjoying an amazing view of the Pacific was incredible. Really, if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place, feeling like you are in symbiosis with nature, come to this hostel. I loved the room I was staying in (Room 1, but I am pretty sure all rooms have a similar set up). There is plenty of room for your things (lockers and around the beds) as well as a balcony and a rooftop providing a gorgeous view of the Pacific and sunsets. The bed was very comfy! As it is a bit further away from the centre of Quepos (15-20 mins walk), many animals live in the surroundings and as they are often noctural, it can be quite noisy during the night. However, it is nothing that earbuds could not solve. (I am a light sleeper). There is a good transport connection to Manuel Antonio (bus coming every 30-40 mins on the road so watch out:) it costs 300 or 400 colones, as far as I remember. Manuel Antonio park was beautiful. I didnt have a tour guide and managed to see so many animals! You also find a bus station in Quepos, which provides a bus transport to many places around Costa Rica. I highly recommend staying in this hostel!

Just a 5-minute walk from Uvita's beautiful waterfall, Cascada Verde Eco Lodge & Hostel offers stunning rainforest and ocean views. The vibe was great! The view immaculate!

Sebastian was really friendly and very helpful with anything you needed. Lots of great information about what to do in the area and future travel around Costa Rica..thanks really enjoyed my stay there .

Nice room with a great balcony with a table & chairs and a hammock. The fans in the room were great. Free coffee and (sometimes) juice was lovely in the morning. The accommodation is nice and close to the beach.
