Iwan gave us a warm welcome and helped set up transport to Surabaya right from the hostel. Location is perfect — calm but still central enough to get anywhere easily. Kitchen was useful, and the common space made it easy to connect with other travelers.

I stayed in a dorm which has Aircon, lockers, comfy bed & it was super clean. Hosts were very welcoming & nice in talking, one evening we all went to a music festival and it was a very nice experience. They also have a community kitchen & free water refilling. I booked Mt. Bromo tour with them & I also had very good and smooth experience with this tour. I could have spent more time in this hostel but didn't know that my stay would be that great. I am sure I will come back soon here one day :)

The homestay was really unique. The rooms were really clean. The pool in the front was a refreshing way to cool down during the day. The property was a short grab from many central locations. The staff were amazing! They really went above and beyond at every step. Their communication was great throughout. They even offered to pack us a breakfast to go on mornings we had early starts with tours etc,.

I can't recommend this place enough. Amazing hospitality, we felt like we were very welcomed. the owner plus house staff helped us with planning the rest of our trip. Excellent breakfast too!

The coffee and water were always refilled. It was really clean. The staff is very friendly. Bathroom is unique and beautiful.

I had one of the little huts which was so cute and cosy. The bed and the pillows are super comfortable and it’s quiet so perfect for a good night sleep after a long day. The shower is hot and good pressure. Also it’s very clean everywhere around the hostel. The location is great as it’s closed to many restaurants, atm, shops. Ranasa is perfect to chill and socialise whatever you feel like as they have separate spaces for both. The stuff is just incredible. So friendly, kind and they will help you with whatever you need help with. Just simply a great atmosphere and great place to stay in Yogyakarta. I wish they had more hostels like this around Indonesia.

This place is amazing. Beautiful, clean, spacius, quiet. Owner and team will take excellent care for you. They can organize budget friendly tours to tempels and surroundings. Its really home away from home.

This is one of the best hostels I've been to in Indonesia. The place is clean, with hot showers, comfortable common spaces, and is at a walking distance from the train station. No mosques and no roosters around, which is clearly a major plus.
