The room was spacious and clean and really comfy, it also felt really safe. The best part about the hostel is the staff, they are so friendly, very very funny and welcoming. Vikram was absolutely amazing helped us get a Sim card, took us to see the border ceremony and a meal, and took us to cross the border into Pakistan the next day. The food at the hostel was really yummy, cold beer and a great place to hang out and meet people. They also offer tours, and are not pushy at all if you're not interested which was refreshing and created a really nice environment. 10/10 would recommend to anyone going to Amristar.
