The zostel is so much cleaner than every other Hotel or Hostel i stayed in! The bedsheets where white and clean. No dust or dirt on the floor! Is is not only clean but very cosy! The location is also perfect if you want to be close to the bus stand and nature at the same time. It has a nice view over the town. There is also a restaurant that has many options you can choose from. Really delicious! If you need something or have any problems, then contact the staff! They are really friendly and try to make your stay as memorable as possible!

This has to be one of the best, if not the best, hostel that I stayed in during my travels. I do not know where to begin in terms of describing just how amazing my overall experience was. The hostel is only a month or so old so everything is, as one would expect, brand new. Setback from the road you're away from the noise and traffic and yet still only a 5minute walk to the bustling cliff area. The dorm rooms are a good size with comfy beds, privacy curtains and individual lockers. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely chill out area upstairs with a well appointed kitchen where you can either cook for yourself or buy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner for around RPS150. The garden is a delight to sit in and isn't really overlooked either. What makes this place complete are the brilliant team; huge thanks to Vikram and Pintu who made me feel so welcome and provided so much fun and laughter. Book it now before it's too late!

It’s clean, peaceful, and felt like a great place to start each day. The whole property is well-maintained, and you can tell there’s real care behind the scenes. Everything from the rooms to the common spaces had a calm, intentional vibe 🍃. What I appreciated most was the balance between community and personal space 🍂🪷. There were always friendly people around, but it never felt busy or overwhelming. I could join in or take time for myself, and both felt equally supported. Nitish was really helpful before I even arrived, sending clear directions and making the whole process simple 🛤️. Once I got there, he made sure I felt welcome. Lucky, who helps take care of the space, was kind and friendly too 🌼🙂. For what’s offered, the price is very fair 🍀. If you’re heading to Auroville and looking for a quiet, conscious place to stay, HostelExp is a great choice. I’d definitely come back 🌺✨.

One of the best places we have ever been to....My friend and me came to gokarna together.... We had one of the best times ever... The environment here is very friendly, they never made us feel lonely... We made so many friends because of these guys..... I really loved the way they welcomed us and introduced themselves and introduced us to all the people who are in the hostel.... We had a blasting New Year 2024 celebrations here..... They made us feel that we are with family and very close friends... We got to meet new people and made friends..... I kept extending and ended up staying there for more than a week. Niaz is super nice and he really loves to help you with whatever question you throw at him, even taking you to places himself. Luckily Niaz' friend was staying there at the same time who cooked for us every evening, which contributed even more to this really nice community feeling. We celebrated Holi Festival and went to temple festivals together and Niaz let us paint flags on the house, which I loved. The rooms were clean, you can use the kitchen and there's a rooftop where you can hang out or do some yoga. Plenty of space up there. Loved it !

The breakfast was great and it had a calm vibe to the place. Anup is a great host and helped with anything I asked. All the staff make this one of the best places I’ve stayed (including the very friendly cat)
