This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We did the ring road while driving in Iceland and we booked seven places where we stayed. Out of these 7 places I have to say that Berunes was by far the best one. It was an amazing experience and the host is super friendly and helpful. But the reason why we liked Berunes the most was because it was a step back in time. The house where we stayed was built in the 1900s and the furniture is rustic but there are all the facilities needed. We are a family of four and we had two separate rooms and a private bathroom. Just next to the house there is a small church and also a restaurant. The restaurant was closed at the time of our visit, in April, but they will open it in summer. The landscape surrounding the hostel is also amazing. There is a lake in front of the house and the mountain at the back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and spend some enjoyable time in the middle of nature.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. The team was extremely helpful 👏 I also liked that there was a good coffee machine 😀 and Oatmilk, at no other hostel I've been to in Iceland they have that. The whole hostel was super clean 👌 and still they had only 3 workers, which I thought was almost impossible, but they were extremely thorough and fast. I will go there again!
