Sooo comfortable and cosy! Double beds and private sections in the dorm make it feel like you almost have your own room. The kotatsu heated tables are a godsend. The owner is super sweet and makes tasty cheap meals if you don't feel like going out. Location is perfect, next to the station (and bus stop for Snow Monkeys, ski resort) as well as a convenient Lawson. There's water, tea and coffee and a fridge for guests. You get a free ticket to the local onsen! And Koharu the dog will take endless head scratches!

Dům je nádherný a má historii. Mají spoustu informací co v okolí dělat, kam jít, co vidět. tatto-friendly onseny apod. Pokud plánujete výlet/výšlap v okolí, rozhodně doporučuji. Prosím mějte na paměti, že staré domy nejsou logicky odhlučněné a člověk do toho s tím musí jít. Nicméně i tak jsme se dobře vyspali - druzí hosté byli ohleduplní.

My party of 5 total stayed only one night when hiking the Magome to Nagiso section of the Nakasendo. Proximity to train station and Nakasendo trail was the original selling point, but we fell in love with the place as soon as our host toured us around. It feels like staying at an artsy bed and breakfast, except you provide the breakfast and you get the entire place to yourself. There's small, delightful touches of personality and hospitality every where you look. We did not want for anything. Our sweet host met us at the front door to enter data from our passports and then gave us a walk through of the building. Two toilets and two showers was perfect for a group of 5. Fridge and other kitchen appliances work great. We listened to the CD disc player on the wall while reading the books and it was a lovely experience.The futons were placed very thoughtfully according to our parties needs. In addition to the trail and train station, there's a grocery store, a historic bridge and a cafe all within a couple minutes walk. The patios were a great hang out spot and we saw monkeys near the river around 7am. Honestly, I wish we had stayed longer but our plans dictated we move on. Next time we will try to book a few more nights so we can explore the area more!

Starfall Lodge se nachází v destinaci Hakuba. Tsugaike Kogen ski areál se nachází 9 km daleko a Nagano železniční stanice 44 km. Starfall exceeded exceeded my every expectation! The beds were really comfortable, the staff were super helpful and the common lounge was a great place to relax with friends after a long day on the slopes. All of the facilities were private and kept beautifully clean (the showers are huge btw!). I can’t wait to stay again next season! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Bohemians' Shelter se nachází v destinaci Hakuba a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a barem. Tsugaike Kogen ski areál je 8,3 km daleko. The room and the public spaces were always neat. The staff are pleasant and very accommodating. The general vibe was exceptional, including amongst other guests. I’m a solo female traveler and stayed in the mixed dormitory but I had 0 discomfort. The host runs several shuttles in the mornings to drop off patrons in the morning, so we can then take the town shuttle to get to different ski resorts etc, as well as evening shuttles to pick you up from town and take you back to the guesthouse.

I was initially skeptical about staying at Tsugaike seeing how the "main" resorts Happo-one and Hakuba 47 are quite a distance away. However, Hai Lodge was everything that previous reviewers had said. Tsugaike is a wonderful resort with many different terrains that would satisfy most people. The place was very well-maintained and clean. Josh and Victoria were wonderful hosts. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hai Lodge and will definitely stay again next time!

The interior is very stylish yet keeping the traditional details of the beautiful 200year old house! Very spacious and relaxed ambience. The staffs are very welcoming! We were given a tour and history of the house and location. Also got recommendations of what to eat nearby. There's a bath on site, although smallish, but made out of hinoki wood! The common area is a library full of cool books, and also a kitchen to make meals if needed.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort’s gondola, Morino Lodge offers cosy accommodation with spacious guestrooms and a modern lounge. Hotel is very good, their staff so good. Rooms is very good and comfortable.
