Our favourite accommodation in two weeks of travel. Beautiful design, super comfortable beds, lovely staff, fantastic facilities. The town is super cute - we lived getting deep into the mountains and valleys of Shikoku. Highly recommend adding this destination to your trip!

Ichi The Hostel se nachází v destinaci Minamicho a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Tokušima vlakové nádraží je 48 km daleko. The place is beautifully decorated and at the same time super comfortable. Very spacious kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook. Lovely terrace to hang out (and also to easily hang up washed clothes), looking at the 23rd temple Yakuoji, which is lit up at night. Staff very welcoming and space to park bicycles. Super.comfy bed. It is a great place and town to stay for more than a day to have a rest. There is an onsen (faster by bicycle) with the pool in front of the ocean and they serve pretty good food (sashimi included!) and accept cards. There is a natural arch to visit next to this onsen and the town itself is really lovely, it had a special vibe, with the traditional houses and the culture regarding the seaturtles that go to lay eggs. Loved the exhibition of the cyclist couple that is put in the living room.

Kanchantei The Mainhouse se nachází v destinaci Minamicho a nabízí kola zdarma, zahradu, sdílený lounge a bezplatné Wi-Fi. The host was exceptionally friendly and his place was beautiful decorated with the best futon and soft floor. And as an extra, he speaks very good English which makes everything so much easier. I can’t recommend this place enough

HOSTEL PAQ tokushima se nachází v destinaci Tokušima a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací. Tokušima vlakové nádraží se nachází 700 metrů daleko. Everything. Hostel Paq is a fantastic spot and I recommend it unreservedly.

HOSTEL OE se nachází v destinaci Yoshinogawa a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Yakuri-ji Temple je 49 km daleko. I arrived earlier than check-in time and the owner very kindly let me have the room. There is a rooftop area for hanging laundry to dry. That's very handy for people walking the 88 Temples.

Hostel Coliberty poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Tokušima. Jen 1,9 km odtud se nachází Tokušima vlakové nádraží a Awa-Odori Community Hall je 1,1 km daleko. Pokud si vyberete pokoj v japonském stylu, budete určitě nadšení. Vybavením je sice jednoduchý, ale přesně to jsme čekali. K dispozici je i pěkná společenská místnost a sdílená koupelna. Wifi běželo dobře, v okolí máte konbini a na nádraží si dojdete i pěšky. Hned za okny navíc máte chrám, který můžete kdykoliv během dne navštívit.

4S STAY Awaikeda ikedaonsenyoko nabízí ubytování v destinaci Mijoši. Tento hostel nabízí sdílený lounge a pokoje s klimatizací a s sdílenou koupelnou. I was in a small room with two beds but no roommate came. The actual "main" branch where the staff work and you check in is not the same as where I stayed. Mine was not staffed but about 1 minute on foot from the main branch. The place looked new, clean and quite stylish. It fit the vibe of the new, young entrepreneurs who want to revitalize small towns by making them more in their image. The building I stayed at had a small lounge shared by the people living there and while it had nice, brand new appliances, they had no real utensils or cups or anything like that. The main branch has a bar/café attached to it which is kind of why I missed it the first time I rode in front looking for my check in spot. The food there was very good and featured game meat - deer and boar to be precise. The staff were very friendly. Not sure about the owner's English as I spoke to him in Japanese.
