The beautiful surroundings, garden and tasteful interior decor stood out at Eden kandy. The bed is sturdy and comfy. The staff and mr Ayuda are very accommodating and helpful and overall , it was a lovely stay .

The mountain view at the balcony, the Srilankan art furnitures in the room and the generous, kind and welcoming staff and the owner that gave me useful information about exploring the city and trip planning there.

After being at this place for 1 night , I just feel oh god can I stay here for a few more days . This place has a vibe . I wish if I could give a 10 star rating for the host too . Been on a backpacking trip in Srilanka for a week till now . As far as I have seen this is the best value for money dorm I have been in . Hopefully I'll come back here soon

Our stay at Ku’Vana Hostel Kandy was truly enjoyable. The room is simple and very comfortable, with clean and cozy beds that made for a good night’s sleep. Bathrooms are well maintained and tended to daily, which we really appreciated. The facilities are straightforward, but everything worked smoothly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The location is excellent just a short distance from the city centre, making it easy to explore Kandy, yet still quiet enough to enjoy some peace. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was a highlight delicious, generous, and a great start to the day. For the price this hostel offers exceptional value. Clean, convenient, and filled with genuine hospitality it felt more like staying with friends than in a hostel. We would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Kandy.

If you want, he will show you around by car. He's always there to help you if needed or for a chat. Breakfast was very good and typically Sri Lankan. It's also possible to eat dinner at Buntys place, which was also very tasty. The House offers a little Garden and the area is calm. As a female solo traveller i felt safe.

Asanka was extremely helpful! He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

The Bliss Hostel Kandy se nachází v destinaci Kandy a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Nákupní centrum Kandy City Center je 7,8 km daleko. We initially planned for only 2 nights, however extended our stay as we loved The Bliss! We stayed in the superior queen room, which is even better than the photos show. Lovely, clean accomodation situated amongst serene nature and a beautiful garden at an amazing price point. We had minimal issues with bugs/mosquitoes during our stay. Thanu and Chathura were fantastic, and make you feel like you’re at home. We had freshly prepared dinner by Thanu most nights, and the dishes were superb! Organise your tuk tuk through their driver Aja - very reasonable prices, though be prepared to hold on tight haha. We organised a day tour with him and his brother to Sigirya, Dambulla and Pirandugala at a really good price! They were both excellent. The accomodation is out of the town centre which is part of its appeal. It’s not hard to hail a tuk tuk either to the accomodation (ask the manager to talk to the driver to direct them), or on the main road. Alternatively getting the bus into Kandy was super easy - walk 10 mins down to the main road by the river and ask the locals where to stand for the bus stop. There are so many buses that pass by. Let the bus drivers assistant know you’re going to Kandy and they’ll let you know if you’re getting on the right bus. The bus fare ranges between 35-45 rupees one way. If you want to get the bus back just ask the locals (at the main Kandy bus terminal we got 613 towards Digana, and got off at the bottom of Jambugahapitiya Road then walked up to The Bliss). Overall, an absolute must stay in Kandy! Stunning accomodation at an amazing price point, with kind and heartfelt service from their staff. We will definitely be back if we return to Kandy.

The environment was very chic and clean. First day I stayed in dorm and the room was clean, comfortable bed, bathroom in good and clean condition. Then I decided to stay in the next day through booking.com for the deluxe private room. It was amazing with comfortable bed, ample space and clean. Besides, the location it’s so strategic and you can just go to Kandy lake just by walking distance. Friendly staff that willing to help. I would say that the staff went beyond and above to help for the transportation and also the location that you planned to go. Whatever you have any queries they are trying their best to help you 👍
