We booked 2 nights, but ended up staying for 4 more days. The location is just removed from the beach in a quieter area, an easy walk. The rooms/ bathrooms and kitchen were so clean and comfortable! Some of the comfiest beds I have found in a hostel. The staff was great, helping us book the extra nights and do our laundry with ease. The yard had a bunch of different chairs to sit in while enjoying morning coffee.

They will help you with anything. The place is really clean as well. They have filtered water, free of charge. Most hostels I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka didn’t offer any filtered water. The location is ideal, it’s only a 3 minute walk to the busstop and the main road with all the shops and restaurants. The beach is not even a 10 minute walk. There is also a kitchen and fridge which guests can make use of. I planned to stay here a few days, but ended up staying for two weeks.

Very kind and helpful, always smiling and cheerful, a community is created and food and stories are shared. Recommended for those traveling alone or as a couple!

Showcasing an expansive rooftop terrace with day-beds and barbeque, JJ's Hostel Mirissa is a boutique hostel located in Mirissa North, only a few minutes walk from Mirissa Beach. Very homly place and comfortable for staying in if you do not want to go out. Kitties are adorable and love to spend time around you! 😊😊😊

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is amazing – right by the water with a gorgeous sea view, and perfect for surfing. The rooms were super clean and comfy, and it really felt like a holiday spot. But the best part was definitely the staff – they were sooo friendly and made us feel at home right away. Such a great experience in Weligama! Definitely stays on our list if we travel Sri Lanka again!
