We booked 2 nights, but ended up staying for 4 more days. The location is just removed from the beach in a quieter area, an easy walk. The rooms/ bathrooms and kitchen were so clean and comfortable! Some of the comfiest beds I have found in a hostel. The staff was great, helping us book the extra nights and do our laundry with ease. The yard had a bunch of different chairs to sit in while enjoying morning coffee.

As the name suggests, the view is amazing. You can view the whole beach from the hostel itself. The host was very polite and respectful towards the guest. Breakfast was amazing too which includes Sri Lankan breakfast on one of the days and it was very delicious. The dorms were clean, spacious and air conditioned. The bathrooms had showers with multiple settings and were clean too. Overall, an 10/10 experience. Nothing to call out.

JJ's Hostel Mirissa je butikový hostel a penzion situovaný v Mirisse North, jen pár minut chůze od pláže Mirissa. Nabízí velkou střešní terasu s lehátky a grilem. What did I like? Absolutely everything, I spent about 3 nights here and I was depressed about leaving, this place was the second nicest place I stayed at in sri lanka, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice, I made alot of friends here. I feel like if you are staying in mirissa JJ hostel is part of the experience. highly recommended

I had such a wonderful stay here The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautifully designed spaces that feel both stylish and cozy. The staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to help, making me feel right at home. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas, and the calm, relaxing vibe made it the perfect place to unwind. I’d highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for comfort, charm, and a truly restful stay!

Amazing hostel with great location, I returned here after staying there for 7 days for one more night. The owners and staff were the sweetest and always there to help. I was staying in the dorm which was clean and cozy, the breakfast included was great! Could recommend :)

Her warm hospitality made me feel at ease as a newcomer to the area. The dormitory is spacious, and my bed was both clean and comfortable, offering ample room for all guests. The bathrooms are also large and well-equipped with necessary amenities. A notable feature of JIB Hostel is its restaurant, which serves a delightful array of Asian fusion dishes, including Korean, Thai, and Japanese cuisine, making it easy to find satisfying meal options. My stay at JIB Hostel was truly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
