MK is such a calm, lovely and utterly helpful soul. The place feels more like a home than a hostel. Always clean, enough soap/toilet paper, tea and coffee to help yourself. Location is right downtown close to everything and important bus stops. The ladies were all super respectful and nice to each other and it had a great communal spirit. I felt super safe from the get go. Also equipped with tons of maps, recommendations and activities for the area.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and honestly, Some Place Else exceeded every expectation—it was even better than staying at a hotel. The entire space is modern, clean, and clearly designed with love and attention to detail. As a solo traveler, I often feel a bit lonely on the road, but that wasn’t the case here. The hostel offers social activities every night, making it super easy to meet people. I made friends by my second night! It’s truly a great place to connect with other travelers from all over the world. The beds were comfortable and spotless, with great lighting and excellent air quality. Bathrooms and showers are ALWAYS clean, with hot and cold water available around the clock. Despite the social atmosphere, the vibe was calm and relaxing when you needed downtime. I especially loved the co-working space, kitchen and rooftop—perfect spots to unwind alone or hang out with new friends. The location is also ideal, right in the heart of Georgetown. I’m already planning to come back just to stay here again. Can’t recommend it enough—Some Place Else is a gem!

Your each need is fulfilled better than any so called big budget facilities. Easy check in and check out

Bitterswiit Ladies Hostel se nachází v destinaci George Town v regionu Penang a nabízí terasu. Pláž Northam Beach se nachází 2 km daleko a Wonderfood Museum 600 metrů. The host is very helpful. our flight was very late. but he was waiting for us till the midnight. gave us useful information. The hostel is like traditional penang old house. looks like a museum. Really nice experience~ strongly recommend~

Amore Stay se nachází v destinaci George Town. Penang Botanic Gardens je 7,9 km daleko a Penang Hill 10 km. Rainbow Skywalk Komtar se nachází 1,2 km od ubytování. Absolutely everything! The place was new, clean, lovely finishings and great lighting. The air conditioning worked well. They offered free coffee and snacks every day for guests. They allowed early check in when our room was ready and all the staff were so lovely. We actually moved from a previous accomodation that was terrible and we were so happy when we arrived to Amore Stay. Fantastic location, wonderful owners. Would definitely stay again!

Aayu Chulia - Chulia St, George Town se nachází v destinaci George Town. Pláž Northam Beach je 2,1 km daleko a Penang Times Square 1,8 km. location is good. staff is awesome. quick response to questions, plan for activity around, places where better to eat. staff asks whats wrong even if everything is fine to be just sure about it. the street is loud, but inside the hotel you will not hear anything. restrooms and showers are shared, but it is designed well, so its cool.

Aayu Seckchuan - 3 mins walk to Love Lane se nachází v destinaci George Town a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a sdílenou koupelnou. Rooms very clean and modern, entire property has been renovated recently I would think and to a high standard. It has shared bathrooms but honestly there are so many that it feels like you have a private bathroom. Cleaned daily (toilets and common areas). Aircon is new and very strong, never need to worry about being too hot. The location is perfectly situated, buses run right outside if you need to reach any activities (Penang Hill or Park) and there are many restaurants/bars within a 3 minute walk. The guys working here were super nice, always on WhatsApp with updates, recommendations, etc. It was such a good location that we extended and additional 3 days.

The Terraces by Aayu - 2 mins walk to Chulia Street se nachází v destinaci George Town. Pláž Northam Beach se nachází 2,2 km daleko a Penang Times Square 1,7 km. the location, the staff willingness to help with any request. One example , i forgot my phone at the National park . A staff member helped to communicate with the welcome boot of the park in the local language and thus i was able to recover my phone. The whole staff was helpfull.
