Location is really good, near enough to go to the Thamel hub by walk, far enough to not be affected by the noise. The rooftop was really good too!

They went over and beyond the call of duty by getting me a heater and filling my thermos with hot tea, as I had just come from warm Thailand with nothing but a swim suit, shorts, tank top, and flip flops, plus they got me a cab ride with their friend for a good price. The towels and comforter smelled extremely clean and the people were friendly and cheerful (the visitors and staff).

Hanuman Dhoka je 1,1 km daleko. - Admins are helpful & ready to do more than required: provided a room that was better for my sleep, found yoga mat for me, gave me a long-sleeve & a cover (I had no warm clothes), etc. - The building is deep in the yards from noisy streets. - Several areas to work with laptop. - The yard is beautiful, staff takes care about it: trees & flowers. - All areas on the territory are regularly cleaned. - Etc. Thank you, my expectations were exceeded.

Location is just perfect, close to monasteries and the monkey temple, it's 15 min walking to thamel so luckily not in the middle of the touristic chaos, the staff was amazing, hope to see you again soon!

Due to weather conditions I was stuck in the road, so I messaged the hostel saying that my arrival time would be uncertain. They quickly responded to me and ensured that someone would open the door for me. The next day the street was flooded, under this extreme weather, the staff still made sure to provide us breakfast and sent us to another accommodation due to the flooding situation. Super responsible staff, very very nice, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hostel.

Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Not pushy at all. So nice. And my room THE BEST. I was in a bird’s nest in the BIRD’s NEST. Grounds so pretty and quiet also. Always hot water, everything clean, everyone genuinely smiling. Such a pleasant stay in the city i know and visit very very frequently but always stay away from the center. I had to be in the city this time and had some reservations. Bird’s Nest was such a welcome

I loved my stay at Swastik! Such a personal experience as I got to speak with and get to know the owner and manager personally, who were both so friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the area. The hostel was clean and well maintained and the staff are always happy to help and genuinely want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I also met such nice and interesting people at the hostel, I can’t say I met anyone I didn’t like! The food was also amazing and really reasonably priced. I ate the best dal bhat I had in my whole Nepal visit and all the vegetables were organic and grown on the hostel’s own farm. Bhaktapur was also an incredible city with such a beautiful insight into traditional Nepali culture with the friendliest people!
