The staff is amazing, great common areas with a jacuzzi outside and two kitchens well equipped ! But what I loved more than everything else is Blake, the hostel's cat, always asking for cuddles or food (in truth, mostly for food 😺).

The beds are really comfy and the area was quiet. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well-equipped and kept very clean.

Smoke Lake Hot Springs Lodge and Camp is in the heart of Rotorua on the edge of the famous Kuirau Geothermal Park. We are a family run business and have been here for 38 years. Hot pool was open until late. The cabin was clean, toilet was really nice, also the heater was good to have for the cold weather. They have a pool table which is pretty cool and a free simple, but nice breakfast. Location was the best, walking distance every where!
