So cute, amazing view and great rooms with single beds. Very cosy vibes here. Loved my stay as its feels more homey and remote. It's close to Te Anau but with much more space. Great staff too!

The layout was cute and it meant the the private rooms only shared a kitchen with 2 other rooms. The staff were friendly and it seemed like there were lots of facilities like bbq and washing. We only stayed for 1 night so can’t comment on too much but it seemed very comfortable.

The location was amazing. Beautiful forest right next to a lake and river. You can easily do a few day walks and hikes just walking from Possum Lodge. The rooms were clean and tidy. The facilities were great. There is a great kitchen, reading room/boardgames room, games room. Henry gave the best recommendations for walks and food. There is honestly so much to like.

I liked the simplicity of the hostel, the facilities, and the cleanliness. The staff was very welcoming, and everything went smoothly. I even washed my laundry. The common spaces, including the kitchen, are big and very clean! I would love to come back.

This stay was exactly what we needed after a long hike. All the facilities worked as they should. A very cozy, retro property that has plenty of charm. We really enjoyed our stay here, and Nathan was extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
