Otravel Hostel 4 minutes from Mactan Airport se encuentra en Pusok, a 9,4 km de SM City Cebu, y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis y terraza. Unassuming facade, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised that it's bright, clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside slippers were provided (which is a nice Asian touch),while shoes are kept in a shoebox locker for safety. There's a common room and free coffee. Bunkbeds are spacious that each has a mini cabinet and a drawer,even a trash bin. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I wish the light was a bit brighter though for those wanting to read. Blinds are installed per bed for privacy. Now this is a hostel that is actually at par with ones I have stayed at in Europe: clean, comfortable and safe. Of course being a shared dorm one would expect some noise from fellow travellers but everyone was considerate with their voices and movements, I was able to nap before checking out early to catch my flight. I hope they can expand because this is a very nice place to stay at for those in layover, and it's budget friendly too. You can find a convenience store, bar/resto,spa and laundry on the ground floor. It's proximity to the airport is also a plus. I'm impressed. Will definitely be back.

Wild Monkeys Hostel se encuentra en Moalboal y dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The staff, cleanliness, organization, and everything is amazing!

Georgia's Neverland Hostel está en Isla de Malapascua, a 6 min a pie de Playa de Langub, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. Nice and friendly staff. Free coffee in the morning. Nice hammocks. Very good location

Public House Hostel, que está a 7,7 km de SM City Cebu y a 9,4 km de Ayala Center Cebu, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño compartido en Pusok. Love this hostel- It didn't really feel like a hostel but more like a hidden gem accommodation with spa. Very clean, great staff, safe and comfortable bed. Also one of the best massage I had- very professional staff. I initially booked for 1 night as it was very close to the airport and I stayed for 2 nights as my flight to Siargao got cancelled mid-air, so I was able to return and tried my luck the next morning to get a seat on the plane on day 3 ( the proximity to the airport did make this possible for me although I had to go to the airport twice in the morning) can access the airport by using their transportation service or get a grab.

Home Sweetie Homestay & Bunkbeds está en Moalboal, a 7 min a pie de Playa de Panagsama y a 26 km de Cataratas de Kawasan. My friend and I had the best time at Home Sweetie! Max and Anna, the owners are absolutely wonderful! They make you feel at home and they will always let you join them for night out! We went to trivia night and watch sunset together! The guest house has everything you need, the location is perfect and you can walk to the beach or the main road where you find bars and cafes! Totally recommended, we hope to come back again soon and spend more time at their place :) thank youuuuu

Susing Seaside Guesthouse, que se encuentra a 2 min a pie de Playa de Basdiot y a 26 km de Cataratas de Kawasan, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Moalboal. Remy y Lenny son los mejores. Nos atendieron muy bien, nos ayudaron en todo (Tours, traslados, etc). Limpio, preocupados por sus huéspedes.

MOMO Hostel, en Moalboal, ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con jardín, terraza y bar. El albergue está a unos 26 km de Cataratas de Kawasan y a 26 km de Santo Nino Church. Momo is the best host and Jack the cutest dog. It’s a small walk outside the busy town area so it’s nice and quiet at night.

Peach Haven está en Cebú, a 11 min a pie de Fuente Osmena y a 1,5 km de Ayala Center Cebu. At first, I planned to stay two nights in this hotel, but I ended up staying the entire week in Cebu! The woman who manages this hostel is incredibly kind, helpful, and has a big heart. She will do everything to make you feel at home. The rest of the staff is also very friendly. She offered me some "day tours" organized in Cebu. The price for these day tours is very reasonable, and they allow you to visit several places like Cebu City, Moalboal (canyoneering, sardines, turtles), or Oslob (whale sharks, Sumilon Island). These day tours are well-organized, and you’ll manage to do everything on the itinerary on time. You definitely do more things than if you organize it yourself. You do the activities with other people from different hotels or hostels, and most of them are Filipinos who are very friendly and include you with them. You have a private driver with your group, which saves you from worrying about traffic and transportation costs. Also, your luggage is completely safe in the van. At the hotel, I was also given a padlock to store my suitcase in a locker. The bedding and towels are changed very frequently, I think every day. The shower water is hot, there are toilets in the room, but also other toilets downstairs. Water is available for you. You get free small cakes and candies. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, and I love the vibe of this hostel. I arrived very late because my Manila-Cebu flight was delayed, and the lady waited for me and even carried one of my suitcases up to my room. She even drove me to some stores on my first day. I made friends at the hostel and during the day tours. I highly recommend it (especially if you’re traveling solo), and if I need to come back, I will stay here again! My trip wouldn’t have been the same without choosing this place.
