There is a direct access with the metro, the staff is very welcoming and they try to create social gatherings by offering one drink in the evening. Also breakfast is included. The woman's dorm is on the third floor, accessible with an elevator. It was my second hostel in Taipei and while both are very convenient, this one tops!

Star Hostel Taipei Main Station offers simple but comfortable accommodation near Taipei Main Station. This hostel was amazing. When I first arrived, the staff welcome me with so much warmth and friendliness. Especially Lulu was super nice and helpful, she gave me a great introduction about the hostel; and also in the days I stayed, she was always there to help. The breakfast is also really good. Every day they have a different menu with a nice platter of a main and fruits. It was always a great start to my days. The location is very central. Few mins from the central station, so you can go everywhere easily. Also walking distance to night markets, many stores, cafes and a mall. Rooms was also nice. Enough for 1 person to stay.
