Relaxing atmosphere, we decided to spend a few hours of the day reading in the library next to the kitchen.

Featuring a patio and a cosy non-smoking living space, Norden Ruder Hostel is located in Taitung City, 800 metres from Taitung Railway Art Village. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. This stay was exceptional! The lobby had a calming atmosphere, an open space great for reading or doing work. The room itself was minimalist and very clean. The staff was also super kind, offering to call me a cab to and from other places I was traveling around.

The host (Shaun) was so nice. I immediately felt welcome and was introduced to some of the other guests, who I ended up getting dinner with. Any hostel can give you a bed, this one gave me a fantastic experience and some lovely friends. thank you Shaun.

The people working at the travel bug are the most welcoming I've met in any hostel. Friendly and helpful and fun to hang around with. The hostel itself is very nice and clean and the free breakfast is amazing.

40Inn Backpackers Warehouse se nachází ve městě Taitung, 500 metrů od vesnice Taitung Railway Art Village a 700 metrů od chrámu Taitung Zhonghe. Hostel rooms were comfortable with light by the bed, charging sockets and curtains. Everything including rooms and bathrooms was very clean. They have a water refill station and even breakfast. Hosts are a straight 11/10, they were super friendly and helpful, advised me on nearby places to visit, and how to travel to desirable destinations. The location is perfect, downtown and 5 walking minutes from the local bus station. They also have a very sweet cat.

The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to recommend many activities that can be done in the area as well as other parts of Taiwan. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

The staffs are friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. The laundry and bikes are free to use and those had made my staying time better!
