Bed are big clean, good lockers with fancy locks, breakfast could have been a little freshers but in a huge hostel with a capacity of 100 beds there were hardly 5 to 6 ppl , so I think they will provide a.better break fast in high season.Staffs were really nice and helpful, they let me book premium luxury cruise and . I liked cat ba island very much so peaceful and clam. It has got a.good rooftop, but you cannot get to see ocean from that, but closer to.evrything its a 10 for me.

It’s one of the best hostels I have ever stayed. Comfortable spacious room looks like a private apartment for 4 people, very clean and with a great view. Swimming pool is quite clean and with lounge music. I wish to stay longer and definitely I will come here again.

Ms Hana, made everything so easy during the stay from renting bikes, laundry, fresh towels. Great outdoor area and free beers between 7 - 7:30pm are great!

My stay at Woodstock Jungle Camp was excellent. From the first moment, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff, always attentive to my every need. The place exudes tranquility, surrounded by mountains, ideal for resting or reconnecting. Access is very easy, even by motorbike. The cabin I stayed in exceeded my expectations: comfortable, clean, and with impeccable facilities. The restaurant's food was also a huge plus: everything I tried was delicious. Without a doubt, this is a place I would choose again. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic and relaxing experience in Cat Ba.

This place is truly the heart and soul of Cat Ba, offering the perfect blend of social vibes, comfort, and adventure. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The rooms are spotless, the beds are spacious, and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. The toilets are surprisingly spacious, and the showers are incredibly well-designed with travelers in mind—thoughtful touches that make a big difference. But what really sets this place apart is the incredible staff, especially the manager, Easy. He is the heartbeat of The Secret Garden—always leading by example, never just bossing people around. Whether it’s helping with day-to-day tasks or ensuring everyone from guests to staff is having a great time, Easy’s hands-on approach and positive energy are contagious. He’s someone you’ll remember long after you leave. The hostel is packed with activities that make it impossible to get bored. From daily themed nights (quiz night was my absolute favorite!) to the unique herbal foot bath, there’s always something fun to do. I loved the creative opportunities, like painting a mural for a free stay, and the chance to explore the island while earning free drinks and other perks. The boat tour I booked through the hostel was fantastic—well-organized, reasonably priced, and packed with memorable moments. What’s even better is that booking through the hostel costs the same as anywhere else, whether online or with other operators. Plus, booking through them earned me free drinks, which was a nice bonus! The Secret Garden is more than just a place to stay—it’s a community. It’s the perfect spot to meet fellow travelers, share stories, and create lasting memories. Whether you’re looking to explore, socialize, or try something new, this hostel has it all.
