There’s air conditioning and a fan, but I didn’t need them since I visited in January, and it wasn’t hot. Hot water is available in both the shower and the sink, which is a huge plus in Vietnam. They also provide toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, toothbrushes, and towels). Everything was fresh, clean, and neatly organized. Plenty of power outlets for charging devices, which is super convenient.

Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and slippers, all rooms at Thanh Huong Homestay Số 7 Hẻm 41 Đường Ngô Quyền, Phường Vĩnh Ninh, Thành phố Huế have a TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms also feature a balcony. The family was really nice and made us complimentary Vietnamese iced coffee in the morning :) so good! They also provide u with bananas and little treats upon arrival which is so nice. They were also very accommodating with late check-in and leaving our bags at the homestay until our departure on the night bus in the late evening. The room was cozy the aircon was good and the bathroom was clean. The homestay is also a short walk from the water and imperial city.

All rooms feature a safety deposit box. The hostel is in an almost hidden dead-end alley, so it's super quiet and you don't hear any noise. The AC worked wonders, and the front desk lady (Fin) was a lifesaver and very helpful. I had an issue with my debit card, and she managed to offer me cash back and took care of all the necessary bookings and logistics for me. I'll be forever grateful to her. The comfiest bed I've slept on in my 3 months of backpacking through Southeast Asia.

A truly lovely hotel with an equally lovely team. They went out of their way to help me organise my time in Hue, which made everything so much easier. My room was beautifully presented and had all the bits and pieces I could possibly need. Breakfast with that river view was the perfect start to each day — calm, charming, and thoroughly enjoyable.
