The owner, Vinthi, was a great host. wanted to extend my stay, unfortunately, it was booked.

The location is absolutely gorgeous. I could see the ocean from my bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is also quite social. There is also a restaurant so you have everything there that you could possibly need.

Every year I visit Fairy Knowe it improves. The staff are always extremely helpful and the vibe is great! You can do all sorts of activities, and there is live music at the bar on the weekends (week days too in season) All round great experience. They always go above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Highly recommend this lodge and Backbackers! The rooms are super cosy if you feel like being more private! The bathrooms are super clean. The location is great with INCREDIBLE food options in the town! Thank you for the incredible experience. I’ll be back in December.

What makes this place extra special is Debbie, the manager. She goes out and beyond to make sure that the guest is extremely satisfied. She even took me on a hike and had her friend drive me around because I didn't have a car. Thank you Debbie for making my stay here feel like home. I recommend this place to any backpacker and wouldn't stay anywhere else whenever I visit Plattenburg. As for the accommodation itself, it's very clean and you have everything that you need.

Surrounded by nature, Tube 'n Axe Backpackers is located in Storms River Village, 14 km from Tsitsikamma National Park. It is a very nice place to stay with loads of activities close by. My room was great and the Backpackers itself is really nice. The personal was great as well! Really nice and friendly people, nice talking at the first place in the evening. Great food. The Blackwater Tubing is a highlight as well.

I needed somewhere to work, very last minute and they exceeded my expectations with value for money, facilities, friendliness and safety. Thank you so much!
